Delivery, Installation & Training
Installing your Printiple UV printer is a simple operation which usually takes less than 1 hour. If you are new to commercial printing we advise that you become proficient in the creation and editing of vector artwork using a program like Adobe Illustrator. Once you are familiar with the requirements and the mechanics of our printers they are very simple to use. Almost all of the ‘skills’ you will require for UV printing are within the operation of your artwork package (e.g. Illustrator) to create the best artwork possible. Please note that our installation and training options assume at least basic knowledge of artwork file creation.
When purchasing your printer you have the following options of delivery and installation. Please note that we can only perform on-site installations at mainland UK locations.
Option A - £0 FREE
UK Collection & Installation
Collecting your new printer from our showroom is an option available to you free of charge and is booked by prior appointment with a lead-time of approximately 1 week.
Bring your PC to our showroom and we will install your newly purchased UV printer to your PC. This ensures you can get started in the quickest, cheapest and simplest way possible.
Please ensure your PC conforms to our RIP’s minimum requirements and has a network cable connector.
Please take note of the printer’s size and weight if arranging your own collection.
Option B - Additional £399
UK Delivery, On-Site Installation & 1/2 Day Training
This cost option can be chosen when purchasing the printer and is subject to a lead-time of approximately 1-3 weeks.
We deliver and unpack the printer at your mainland UK site before installing the inks and connecting it to your PC. We then install your software and initialise the printer before teaching you the basic operation of UV printing and the RIP software.
Maximise your output from the start with more advanced training on the printer and the RIP software over a 4 hour period. *Mainland UK only.
Please ensure your PC conforms to our RIP’s minimum requirements, has a reasonable internet connection and has a network cable connector.
Please ensure that the delivery address is suitable for a pallet delivery by tail lift truck.
Please note that the training covers operation of the printer and RIP software and assumes that you have a reasonable working knowledge of vector based artwork and a program like Adobe Illustrator.
